Mexican Gunfight

MEXICAN GUNFIGHT
This band ought to be called The Usual Suspects but I think that name is taken. It's good to play music with your old friends, I must say. We're even edging toward respectability with the imminent release of our first album. Woo-Hoo! The band is Mike Walker on keys; Dave Coey on singin', songwriting and bass; Ned Failing on drums and vocals; and me of course.

THE FLOYDIAN SLIPS
The band that started out as a lark has become the band I've been in longer than any other. The mutant brainchild of bassist Brendan Relaford and guitarist Paul Lesinski, the Slips have done epic Floyd shows since 1996.

BART FERGUSON AND THE EDWARD STANLEY BAND
A band of old and new friends that plays lots of Bart's songs and some fun classics.

Here's some info on some of my old bands.

THE RENEGADE SAINTS
Since we all still seem to be alive ten-odd years later, we thought we might do a little more playing together, dust off the old tunes and have a little fun. And so with less hair and more chops we go off into the night...

The Latter Day Saints
Lea Krueger

LITTLE RADIO featuring Lea Krueger
Lea Krueger is an amazing singer/songwriter/bass player/rocker...etc. She's been playing in the NW for a long time and has earned the respect and admiration of music fans as well as musicians wherever she plays. It is a treat to be playing in her band. The band also features Ned Failing on drums, and Mike Walker on keyboards.

PAN BIMBO
This band got together for the sole ambition of having fun. It's a beautiful thing to achieve your goals isn't it? Made up of some of my favorite musicians and people: Ned Failing on drums, Nate Query on bass, and Mike Walker on keys, we drink beer, play music, and terrorize unsuspecting singer/songwriters. All in a days work.

Dave Coey and the Tremor Guild

DAVE COEY AND THE TREMOR GUILD
Rising from the ashes of Kerosene Dream comes Dave Coey's new band. Though it's not so much a new band, as Bevan, Chris Chard, and I were in the last incarnation of the Dream, as a new direction for Dave.

DAVID ANDREWS BAND
I've known David for a long time. The Renegade Saints used to do shows with his old band, Calobo. His style is sort of a mid-70s singer-songwriter with a little oomph thrown in for good measure. Tasty stuff and fun to play. In 2005 I started playing with him on a more regular basis and it's been a lot of fun. Hopefully we'll do some recording at some point. Check out the David Andrews Band website.

Kerosene Dream

KEROSENE DREAM
My most recent ex-band featured the singing and songwriting of Bart Ferguson and Dave Coey and something of a revolving door of back-up musicians. I was in the band from about 1998 to the end in 2002.

MISSION DISTRICT
My first "real" band came together when drummer Matt Reynolds introduced me to John Shipe and Mike Walker back in about '86. We worked on our songwriting and jamming skills playing a mixture of original songs and 70's era covers until 1991. For more on Mission District see the
Mission District page.
